Right of withdrawal

Food and statutory exceptions

There is no statutory withdrawal right for goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly under section 312g(2)(2) BGB, especially freshly prepared perishable meals. Food and frozen goods are not automatically excluded merely because they are food. For sealed goods the exception in section 312g(2)(3) applies after unsealing only if health or hygiene reasons genuinely make them unsuitable for return. Statutory defect rights remain unaffected.

Withdrawal notice for goods not excluded

You may withdraw within fourteen days without giving reasons. The period is fourteen days from the day you or a designated third party other than the carrier takes possession of the goods; for separate deliveries under one order, from receipt of the last goods. You may use the form below, but this is optional. Sending the statement before the deadline is sufficient.

Effects of withdrawal

We reimburse all payments including the cheapest offered standard delivery, without undue delay and within fourteen days of receiving notice, using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without reimbursement fees. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or proof of return, whichever is earlier. Return or hand over goods to the address above without undue delay and within fourteen days of notifying withdrawal; dispatch within that period is sufficient. You bear direct return costs. You are liable for diminished value only from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
